Quick Start Guide
Dots are "distributed objects of thought": mini-blog posts designed to be easily created, collaboratively improved and automatically distributed by all who see them!
- Dots place your thoughts into news articles, in context.
- Dots can contain anything you think is important or missing in the news.
Start a dot by email
- Send an email to post@dotspots.com
- The email subject becomes your dot's title (use #hashtags for topics)
- Include anything… text, pics, videos, links, embeds
- Your first e-mail automatically creates your DotSpots account!
- What could be easier? Try it for yourself and see…
Connect your dot into the news
- Dots can be attached to ideas, quotes or paragraphs of text
- Attached once, dots are automatically distributed into all related articles
